Overall, my time in the Coventry Public Schools has prepared me for life beyond graduation. I have had excellent educators who are committed to student success. However, the condition of the buildings is very poor- moldy, leaking roofs, inconsistent heating/ air conditioning, overflow sewer system, undrinkable water supply from one of the elementary schools, and lack of adequate safety measures at entrances and exits. As a community, the taxpayers often resist investing tax dollars towards capital improvement towards the school.

Everyone’s high school experience is different. Mine has been pretty good, I have had the chance to take many different classes and try out career and tech programs offered at the school like sports medicine and biomed. All of my teachers have been super supportive and are always welcoming in class. There are many opportunities to get involved at the school both with sports and other clubs like unified.

My overall experience being a student in Coventry Public Schools has been good. There have been some ups and downs, but we all know that it happens with everything in your life. Every single year I have had really good teachers who are very helpful and willing to do anything and everything to help their students. Some of the worst experiences has been in high school with my health careers classes and teachers. There was a lot of drama between the teachers of that program, but I still ended up learning everything I needed to. In conclusion, Coventry Public Schools is a very good school district.
